Listen to Audio on Amazon Fire TV
The Audio section contains several audio collections, including music, dramas, and dramatic Bible readings.
(Note: Your remote may not look the same as the diagrams used in this tutorial.)
Select Audio from the home screen to see the available audio collections. Follow the steps below to find and listen to audio programs:
Listen to an Audio Program
Each row represents a collection of audio programs. The name of the collection appears above the row.
Up and Down: Navigate to a different collection.
Left and Right: Scroll through the audio programs in a collection.
Press Select to select the highlighted program and load the Audio Program Details screen.
Select one of the following actions:
Play: Play the audio program from the beginning.
Play All: Play all the audio programs in the current collection, starting with the program currently shown on the screen. Playback will stop when all the programs in the collection have been played.
Resume: Resume the audio program from where you previously left off listening.
The row below the Audio Program Details screen shows other audio programs in the current collection. Press Down to enter the collection row, Up to return to the Audio Program Details screen.
Listen to an Audio Collection
In addition to playing single audio programs, you can also listen to an entire collection. Navigate to the audio collection you want to listen to, then select one of the following options:
Play All: Play all the programs in the collection, starting with the first one.
Shuffle: Play all the programs in the collection in random order.
Playback will stop after all the programs in the collection have been played.
Control Audio Playback
When an audio program is playing, you can control the playback with your Amazon Fire TV remote as follows:
Play/Pause: Pause the audio. Press the same button again to resume the audio.
Fast Forward: Move forward quickly through the audio program. Press the Play button to resume playing.
Rewind: Move back toward the beginning of the audio program. Press the Play button to resume playing.
Back: Return to the Audio screen.
